About the job
As Alfa Laval’s new Market Analyst, you will be the main resource in a newly started function working with market and competitor intelligence. You will be hosted in Alfa Laval’s largest Business Unit; BU Hygienic Fluid Handling as part of the Marketing and Digital Experience team located in Kolding, Denmark. You will be working with both ongoing monitoring as well as ad hoc reports, and you will be creating dashboards, presentations and reports to key stakeholders.
You will analyze different data sets to provide business insights and extract key strategic implications, including business potential based on market, customer and finance data. Furthermore, you will provide insights on digital marketing performance and lead generation capability. To provide integrated insights about the customer journey, you will connect various data points; from web analytics to CRM and marketing automation tools. Furthermore, some of the tasks will include:
•To contribute to audience segmentation for optimization
•To cross analyze market data with internal commercial performance and find out best practices and growth opportunities
•To own the Market Share calculation and competitor analysis process in the business area of responsibility
Who you are
You love data and with your excellent analytical skills, you love to dig for facts and take ownership to show a result. You have a structured approach to solving problems and tasks and love having an impact on your daily work. You are great at working independently and always follow up on your work to make sure everything is running smoothly.
High quality is very important to you and you will do what it takes to achieve that. You have a curious mind and you are proactive by nature – you love to learn new things and have a positive attitude.
We imagine that you have at least 2-3 years of experience working in an analyst function and hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Business Intelligence or similar.
It is important that you possess strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience with PowerBI or other Business Analytics/Data Visualization tools is a plus.
Last but not least; you are fluent in Danish and English.
