As Technical Bid Specialist your overall responsibility is to support the Sales Manager, Bid Manager and Technical Sales Specialist in large and complex bid processes of multi-million Euro value. Your focus will be on the X-series product, which is Green Hydrogen Systems’ latest and largest product line, ready for commercial launch.
Working cross-functionally, you ensure the retrieval and coordination of inputs for tender bid processes from your colleagues in different departments, supporting that bids are delivered on time with sufficient technical information. The aim of the bid response is a high-quality proposal delivered on time to the customer promoting GHS product offering best possible.
A typical work week will cover tasks such as:
Not two days are alike, and you will enjoy the company of the commercial team at the office in Kolding referring to VP of Sales & Partnerships. Occasionally you and your team will be visiting European fairs and exhibitions presenting own technology and seeking inspiration from abroad.
There are different approaches to the role as a Technical Bid Specialist, but we imagine you have an educational background within engineering at a bachelor’s level, preferably within process, product or technological engineering. You have gained valuable insights and hands-on experience with pressure calculations, fluids, temperature levels, vessels and have a keen interest in learning about new technology including electrolysis.

Primary responsibilities
As Technical Bid Specialist your overall responsibility is to support the Sales Manager, Bid Manager and Technical Sales Specialist in large and complex bid processes of multi-million Euro value. Working cross-functionally, you ensure the retrieval and coordination of inputs for tender bid processes from your colleagues in different departments, supporting that bids are delivered on time with sufficient technical information. The aim of the bid response is a high-quality proposal delivered on time to the customer promoting GHS product offering best possible.
A typical work week will cover tasks such as:
- Proactively support bid manager in managing the bid team consisting primarily of subject matter experts and a bid coordinator
- Obtain knowledge from Technology, R&D and Application Engineering Team to become familiar and a go-to person for technical questions for the company’s technology and products in close collaboration with the Technical Sales Specialist
- Participate in internal bid and sales meetings as well as selected customer meetings
- Preparing the bids in close collaboration with commercial core team with main focus on the technical sections based on questions and requests from customers
- Support bid manager to drive the bid through decision gates and internal governance
- Ensuring compliance, eligibility and submitting on time
- Focus on continuous improvement of internal collaboration and communication to optimize the process for use of internal resources and quality improvement
