JOIN OUR WIND ENERGY AND RENEWABLES DEPARTMENT IN LYNGBY, DENMARK AND/OR HAMBURG, GERMANY
In Wind Energy and Renewables, you will become part of our Wind unit. Wind Energy and Renewables numbers 50 skilled experts. Since 1980, we have been involved in the development of more than 1,000 wind power projects in 70 countries. As a full-service provider within onshore and offshore wind energy, we offer our services at all stages of wind power projects from site prospecting, wind and feasibility studies to the ‘ready-to-build’ stage – as well as lifetime extension of existing wind farms.
DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
In this position you will join our global team of experts and work closely with the Head of Section. As a Wind Energy Specialist, you will have a chance to gain broader perspective at a consulting firm that provides technical solutions for tomorrow's sustainable societies – as part of the green conversion.
Apart from your employment in a specialist team with a long track record in the wind energy industry, COWI will also provide you a chance for mobility across different offices or projects along with an opportunity to participate in internal development tasks and be a part of good academic environment with a tradition of academic sparring and opportunities for participation in courses related to your further education.

- Involved in a range of project development, wind turbine technology, data analysis and modelling, asset management and lifetime extension projects
- Involved in project management and will also be expected to provide technical contribution on wind energy projects
- A part of a dynamic engineering team strong within onshore and offshore wind energy and its supporting industry with a broad range of services across the whole lifetime of a wind energy project.

Furthermore, you should:
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in engineering or scientific field
- Have thorough knowledge of technical discipline related to wind energy
- Have minimum 5 years of relevant work experience including project management where experience in consultancy will be considered as an advantage
- be skilled in aeroelastic calculation tools like bladed/hawc2/flex and gis/qgis skills related to spatial planning along with the knowledge of wind analysis tools like windpro/wasp/windsim
- Know Data analysis as it will be the keyword and we expect that the candidates master tools like MATLAB.
