Do you want to work with internal Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) in COWI and help ensure OH&S stays high on the agenda? Can you be one of COWI's OH&S specialists and work with the implementation of OH&S improvement projects? And are you an OH&S specialist with excellent communication and project management skills? COWI gives OH&S high priority. Throughout our organisation, efforts are constantly made to improve the OH&S. In 2020 the Danish part of COWI's business decided to strengthen all aspects of OH&S on a strategic level by obtaining an ISO 45001:2015 certification.
As the new OH&S specialist you will play an important role in maintaining and improving the OH&S management system in the Danish part of our business. Furthermore, you will work closely with our Danish health and safety organisation and the health and safety managers across the COWI Group. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of our Group Management System which also includes OH&S alongside Quality Management.
JOIN OUR INTERNAL OH&S TEAM IN LYNGBY
Together with our OH&S organisation we support all employees in Denmark in OH&S questions. We are responsible for ensuring that the OH&S part of COWIs certified management system is running as intended and to work on global solutions with our colleagues across the COWI group.
A POSITION THAT WILL PUSH YOUR DEVELOPMENT FURTHER
In this position, you will join our small team of specialists. Your finest task will be to ensure we stay certified, to advise about OH&S especially within the areas of on-site work and working with chemicals and to implement OH&S improvement projects.

- Work closely with the OH&S organisation, the OH&S Director and OH&S Manager
- Be the project manager of improvements projects within OH&S e.g. accident prevention and safety on-site work
- Work with our OH&S management system
- Be the go-to person concerning questions about on-site work and chemicals
- Develop and execute training regarding OH&S
- Monitor and implement new OH&S legislation

- Hold a relevant master's degree or similar
- Have more than 5 years of experience within the field of OH&S
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish
- Knowledge about OH&S ISO 45001 and experience with project management is preferable
