At our headquarter in Lystrup, you will join our Software Development Department within the C2 domain (Command and Control), which is an area of great focus and importance in Terma. As we are experiencing a strong positive development, we are looking for a dedicated HMI/GUI Software Engineer for Lystrup who will help build on our success.
Be part of our success
You will be responsible for the interpretation and transformation of user requirements into a solid architectural solution in accordance with Terma’ design guideline/practices. You will be tasked with designing and executing usability tests. Furthermore, you will be responsible for implementing automatic-tests/tests in cooperation with test/systems engineers.
As one of our UI gurus you will work in close cooperation with other project participants e.g. Systems Engineers, backend Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Project Manager and others.

You will be tasked with designing and executing usability tests. Furthermore, you will be responsible for implementing automatic-tests/tests in cooperation with test/systems engineers.
As one of our UI gurus you will work in close cooperation with other project participants e.g. Systems Engineers, backend Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Project Manager and others.
You need to have:
- A relevant education, e.g. a Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, data scientist or similar
- Solid experience with Java, Java/Swing and MVC/MVP patterns
- Experience with designing and prototyping user interfaces.
Most of these applies to you:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in developing UI’s
- You can structure and communicate HMI/GUI proposals/solutions clearly and precisely in writing/sketch/code
- You can handle several simultaneous tasks in a busy and challenging working day
- You are well articulated in writing and speaking, as a minimum in Danish as well as English.
It would be nice if you also had experience with:
- Design and execution of usability tests
- Usability/UX testing, Graphical design (e.g. icons), automatic UI testing of rich clients, GIT, Jenkins, Jira.
