Onsite IT Supporter at site Måløv, who wants to elevate own skills to the next level Would you like to be part of an onsite IT support team that troubleshoots and has the daily hands-on responsibility for supporting +1000 laboratory systems at site Måløv? And do you have an interest in working in a team that supports the digitalization & automatization of research processes using these Lab IT systems? Then this position could be for you! In this role, you will step into Digital Data & IT (DD&IT) - a global community of 2500+ colleagues, driving digital, data, and IT. DD&IT partners with the business to support digital transformation and innovation in all parts of the Novo Nordisk value chain – from idea to final product to the patient. We accelerate digital value creation through standardised, efficient, and secure technology platforms – the foundation for everything digital in Novo Nordisk. The team waiting for you You will be a part of the DD&IT Research & Early Development (R&ED) Research Lab Solutions team which is a fairly new department. Our growing department consists of 10 people, and a handful of external consultants. We help the research laboratories with their day-to-day IT challenges on their laboratory systems. With an ambitious digital agenda, we wish to drive new IT initiatives in a dynamic working environment that supports an increasing number of drug candidates and an agile way of working. The department has close links to all research sites but is anchored at the Måløv site. As this is a fairly new department within DD&IT, the opportunity to develop and nurture your skills as well as take part in shaping the future of the team is very high. What you will be doing You will take part in hands-on support, as well as improving, developing, and maintaining the support process of the 1000+ PCs that are a part of the +50 laboratories across the Måløv site. The responsibilities include end-user and vendor communication, troubleshooting, identification of IT needs, support to patching, other system updates if needed and day-to-day support of the PCs. You will also take part in problem management with technical input when the need arises. You will be working in close collaboration with your colleagues and different stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you possess proactiveness and outside-of-the-box thinking as well as taking ownership of trouble shooting. This is especially important, when you investigate the more complex issues. You are service-minded, and solution-oriented. You are a solution provider and good at handling all the different IT support tasks and service requests despite multiple users, deadlines, and priorities. You have good communication skills and can support stakeholders across all organizational levels. Furthermore, you are structured and like to follow common IT standards and procedures as well as also contribute to the creation of the same when this is needed, based on your knowledge about good documentation. Finally, you are a team player and like to share your knowledge. What you will bring along The ideal candidate will have previous experience with the following:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with 2nd level support.
  • Experience with stakeholder management.
  • Experience with working in the Windows environment and management of this.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar incident management tools.
  • Experience with network connectivity – Analyze, troubleshoot and evaluate computer network problems.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or similar in IT/Computer Science or another relevant discipline.
  • You might have worked as a network engineer in a pharmaceutical company or e.g., internal support at a Region
  • Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you:
  • Have experience with 3rd level support.
  • Experience with problem management
  • Are familiar with working in a Linux environment.
  • Have experience with scripting, in PowerShell or similar.
  • Experience with Windows firewalls and networks.
  • Experience from the pharmaceutical industry or similar
