The position We are looking for an Investment Controller who is motivated by improving our finance processes and likes to present complex issues in a clear and simple manner. The position entails:
• Project controlling activities for a few investment projects
• Together with the project portfolio manager, ensure sound budget forecasts and a good understanding of the overall investment spend and progress on the different investment projects.
• Provide financial guidance, training of, and support to project managers and ensure that established minimum controls are met.
• Responsible for the budget process and submission for our company’s CAPEX and OPEX project portfolios.
• Performing month end closing activities and provide monthly forecasting
• Ensuring effective project controlling while optimizing and continually developing processes, financial models, and reporting.
• Handling ad hoc tasks related to organisations’ project portfolio. Qualifications
• Master’s Degree within Finance, Business or Engineering or similar
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in finance controlling, investment controlling or partnering setting e.g. business finance function, production finance, auditing or similar.
• Previous experience within accounting compliance
• Strong analytical and strategic skills, and the ability to deliver with high quality under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement/management skills along with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels while driving agendas in an independent fashion.
• Skilled communicator and capable of making effective recommendations, as well as, effectively present your findings through presentation material to be used by senior management
• You have confidence and ability to set directions in developing business cases and constructively challenge on all levels of the organisation. On a personal level, you are curious, have a critical sense, and are able to collaborate with all levels of the organisation. You are fluent in spoken and written English. We expect you to have a great interest in financial processes and see every opportunity to improve the processes. You have a sharp eye on details and see yourself as an executer who gets the job done on time without compromising the quality in your deliverables. You will be part of the Finance & Project Office team, residing in the ET Business Development & Support department. The team consists of approx. 10 dedicated colleagues located in Måløv that are responsible for key financial processes in ET, including financial planning, analysis and management reporting, production finance, as well as, managing the investment portfolio including the governance process, project controlling, and execution of cross functional investment projects. Emerging Technologies (ET) is a newly established SVP area in Novo Nordisk. We have a growing pipeline of new products, many of which are based on emerging technology platforms coming into Product Supply via internal development projects and externally acquired assets.
