. Do you want to take investment management of Novo Nordisk Research and Development (R&D) to the next level? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to head up our CapEx investment function. You will be reporting directly to the VP of R&ED Strategy Execution & Investment and join the leadership team. If you are an experienced Leader or Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering successful capital expenditure projects and are looking for an exciting new challenge, we encourage you to apply for the Director, Head of Research & Development Investments position. The position Research & Development (R&D) is a growing part of Novo Nordisk both in size and complexity. As Director, Head of R&D Investments, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced dedicated project managers, Health and Safety Partners, and back-office functions, such as controlling and portfolio management. You will be a key driver behind our portfolio of CapEx projects in Research and Development globally ensuring timely execution. Key responsibilities will include: Lead and manage a team of project managers to ensure the successful delivery of capital projects Develop and implement project management best practices to ensure consistency across all projects Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management Coordinate with senior stakeholders who are the owners of the projects as well as other functions such as finance, procurement, and IT Work in close collaboration with the VP of Strategy Execution & Investment as well as the Secretariat for Investment Portfolio Group (IPG) Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in project management processes and practices Qualifications Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years of experience managing capital expenditure projects Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve project goals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts Furthermore, preferred qualifications include experience working in a regulated environment and PMP or Prince2 certification.

It consists of approximately 20 colleagues and is growing. Beyond R&D Investment projects, R&ED Strategy Execution and Investments also drive M&A integrations as well as DK Site Operations.
