Team waiting for you Cloud & Platform Engineering in Digital, Data & IT - Research & Early Development (DDIT-RED) supports the strategic digital transformation of our R&ED organization in Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for developing, implementing, operating, maintaining, and supporting the solutions, platforms and IT infrastructure used by the R&ED across on-premises and in the cloud. We take pride in being experts in cloud native technologies and at the same time in having experience and understanding of how our researchers use the platforms, data, and compute power we make available. About the role As an IT Cloud Engineer, you’ll be responsible for performing data transfers between cloud environments within and from outside Novo Nordisk enabling scientist to perform there day to day activities. You will be part of an agile delivery Data Transfer Team, within Target & Translational cluster. You will be part of a product team which is working towards business objective of moving data from several data sources (mainly from outside NN) into Novo Nordisk data lakes. What you will do Create data transfer and storage, in standard operating procedures and adhering to policy documentation, industry standards, and best practices
Ensure data migration and data management with an emphasis on data privacy and security
Create and follow best practices of IT Cloud engineering
Ensure DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Designing, develop, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and applications
Skills we look for To be successful in this role you have: Preferably work experience or degree within engineering, computer science or another relevant area
Experiences in building data pipelines (working with product teams to build or improve data tools in the cloud is a plus)
Experience with scripting in Python is an advantage.
Understanding and experience in working with major cloud computing services like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud (GCP). Good understanding of at least one of them is required
Understanding of GDPR specific requirements.
Experience with and/or understanding of agile ways of working
