We are looking for a dedicated, professional, and enthusiastic analytical scientist that can help optimize existing analytical methods, implement automated solutions to our current analytical methods, and additionally act as sparring partner for colleagues in Market Release QC where the routine analyses take place. The position You will be joining a team currently consisting of 11 dedicated scientists and laboratory technicians, in a newly established department, Launch and Scaling QC, which is part of Emerging Technologies. The department is responsible for maturing and scaling analytical methods in preparation for smooth operations, as well as support to our site QC laboratories. As an Analytical Scientist your main tasks will be:
  • Validation and optimization of new and existing oral analytical methods in close collaboration with lab technicians and other analytical scientists.
  • Analytical support and transfer of new methods to site QC laboratories.
  • Contribution to our continuous process improvements, including automation of existing and new processes.
    • You will plan various analytical tasks together with your colleagues and have a constructive collaboration with our many internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate with professionals in neighbouring departments and participate in cross-departmental projects. As a member of our team and department you are expected to have a curious mindset and to contribute to our continuous process improvements in a GMP environment. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you:
  • Hold a MSc or PhD. within a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Engineering).
  • Have experience with LC and/or dissolution analytical methods, as well as other analytical methods.
  • Are able to communicate in English, both written and spoken. Being able to speak and write Danish is a plus.

About the department In Launch & Scaling QC based in Måløv, we are responsible for maturing and scaling analytical methods for use in operations, as well as managing the life cycle of analytical methods across site QC’s in Emerging Technologies. Furthermore, we transfer methods to automatic platforms and ensure a smooth transfer and maturation of new analytical methods.
