European Energy covers all phases of wind and Solar PV projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. Our company of 190 employees has since 2004 installed more than 1.7 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 21 different nationalities at our office in Søborg, Copenhagen. Our mission is to be a significant force in the global transition to a fossil free society.
You will be part of our Technical Asset Management Team, who is taking the leading role in the management of our renewable energy projects. One of the team’s main objectives is the optimization of the assets in operation with a focus on cost minimalizing. The position is based in Søborg, but some travel might be expected.
As an Operations Engineer, you will take on responsibility for the daily operation of Solar PV and Wind assets and will manage and maintain agreements and permits.
We seek a motivated, team oriented yet independent person, who thrive in an international dynamic environment. It is crucial that you show flexibility, a commercial mindset and have good organizational skills, as you will be working in a high paced and multidisciplinary environment.

As an Operations Engineer, you will take on responsibility for the daily operation of Solar PV and Wind assets and will manage and maintain agreements and permits.
Areas of responsibility:
- Analysis of performance and preparation of reports of i.e. production, performance ratio and incidents
- Management of relationships and documentation, agreements as well as claims of different nature
- Contact and coordination with third parties such as stakeholders, grid companies, O&M providers, spare part providers and investors
- Participation in site visits and inspections
- Supervision of Wind and Solar plants in corporation with local partners and colleagues
- Maintenance of permits, authorizations and licenses
Professional skills we expect from you:
- Master degree i.e. in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering or similar and possess demonstrated work experience with project management
- 2 years of relevant work experience in the fields of operation of technical assets
- English and Italian language skills is required for this position
- German language skills is an advantage
