The Position You will be part of the Digital, Data and Commercial IT (DD&IT) team, leading our BI initiatives. In the role you will be collaborating closely with Data Engineers, other Power BI builders and external consultants on establishing our regional BI Centre of Excellence. In the role you will be building a community around BI by developing dashboards, prioritizing BI requests from Affiliates and drive BI training for relevant stakeholders across our network of European affiliates. Specifically, you will be:
  • Designing and delivering scalable BI self-service solutions with the aim of simplifying the access to- and use of data.
  • Leveraging cross-functional data from various internal and external data sources (made available through a newly established Data warehouse) with the aim to develop appealing data visualizations.
  • Driving the development and maintenance of the BI strategy.
  • Driving the delivery of our BI strategi incl. Ways of Working, development prioritization, training, maintenance of existing reports etc.
  • Leveraging external consultants and internal Power BI experts to ensure we have access to best in class BI visualizations and capabilities.
    • Qualifications If you can nod your head at the following attributes then you could be the person, we are looking for:
  • Academic background with IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or similar.
  • A solid understanding of data and how they fit together in data models.
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with PowerBI delivering dashboards/ reports
  • Team player who can work both in teams and still be able to work independently, focus on efficiency and business value in all tasks being executed.
  • Confidence in communicating with Business stakeholders and translating business needs into data visualization.
  • Eagerness in training colleagues and sharing your PowerBi knowledge with others.
    • About the Department Business Information is part of the Data, Digital & Commercial IT (DD&IT) department in Novo Nordisk Region North West Europe covering 13 markets across Europe. The DD&IT department operates as the Centre of Excellence for 13 European affiliates and a group of local DD&IT managers. The department consists of an international and diverse group of highly dedicated and skilled professionals. The team is characterised by a lot of energy, collaboration, and trust.
