Overview

We are currently looking for a new Site Support Specialist to join our team based in Roskilde, Denmark.

In this role you will act as an IT Site Support Specialist working in a global environment and being part of a global team. You will report to the Senior IT Manager who has multiple site responsibilities across Europe. You will be working on local and global projects in close relationship with other cross-functional teams.

What will you do?

- Desk side support (phone support, physical support at site, user administration)

- Computer management setup/dispose according to the routines for Global Asset management

- User management and access handling according to routines (On/Off-boarding, access granting/revoking)

- Backup/ restore management according to the current routines

- Local server management (hardware maintenance, file/print management, support application installations)

- Local server management (hardware maintenance, file/print management, support application installations)

- Local network management

- Support corporate infrastructure teams from the local perspective (acting hands-on on site)

- Maintain SOP's and routines within the unit/site

- Troubleshoot technical issues and engage with third party suppliers for higher levels of support.

- Comply with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures

- Lead local projects from an ETO perspective

- Other duties as assigned

How will you get here?

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent work experience acceptable

Experience

- Experience working with server management including VMware and NTFS, security group handlings would be preferred

- Experience in validated/regulated environment is an advantage

- Experience in using Microsoft 365 platform is preferred

- GxP experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

- Knowledge of cloud services is a big plus (AWS, Azure etc.)

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

- Exceptional customer service skills

- Enhanced PC knowledge and skillsets utilizing Microsoft products, also Cloud experience would be beneficial

- Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot and isolate system issues

- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization

- AS/400 experience on Operator and user level preferred

- Ability to explain and champion technical concepts to a broad audience
