With direct reference to Head of Manufacturing Concepts you will be part of Manufacturing Concepts, which is a global development function in Supply Chain. The department is responsible for developing production concepts, automated processes, end-to-end production flow and at the same time prepare business cases to support continued development. You will be part of a team with 16 close colleagues who handle all development tasks from hardware design, PLC programming, production development and modular and sustainable measures. Together, we work to support Kamstrup's growth and to ensure uniform development of our production equipment across factories.
A job with focus on machine safety
In the newly established position as Senior Safety Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring best practice in terms of safety regulations. Together with colleagues from Quality & Sustainability and Supply Chain Management, you will be co-creating a global information centre and will participate in the documentation and risk assessment of solutions to new production concepts.
More specifically your tasks will be to:
• Design and specify manufacturing and assembly processes ensuring that Kamstrup complies with current legislation
• Improve the general standard for documentation and training regarding machine safety
• Participate in the design and specifications of automation and product development
• Develop necessary manufacturing and assembly concepts in support of Kamstrup’s strategic goals
• Ensure that all production equipment is up to date and complies with current legislation
You can expect around 10 travel days per year.
Personality matters
We are looking for a Senior Safety Specialist who can contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup through your technical understanding and drive. You have a minimum of five years of experience from a similar role where you have worked in the field in the manufacturing industry.
In addition, it is a requirement that you have:
• Solid experience in machine safety
• CE markings in Danish industry standards
• Understanding of current legislation
As a person you are innovative and prepared to generate new ideas and translating these into usable solutions. You are used to leading by example and to work independently by principle of self-management. With your strong understanding in safety regulations, you are ready to challenge status quo and analyse and solve problems using critical thinking.
It is a requirement that you master Danish and English in writing and speaking.
