Therefore, we are looking for a new Platform Engineer who is driven by continuous improvement of our Kubernetes platform roadmap.
With direct reference to our Head of Application Support, you will become part of our Application Support team which consists of 8 skilled colleagues with various backgrounds such as IT Infrastructure Architects, Platform Engineers, and DevOps Engineers. It is a growing and motivated team responsible for providing the platforms for our development teams and designing the infrastructure specifications. The team is characterized by an open culture and high ambitions, where good collegiality, knowledge sharing, and sparring is highly valued.
A job with focus on developing and optimizing a globally scaled platform
As our new Platform Engineer, your main responsibility will be to actively develop and maintain a globally scaled Kubernetes platform where you also design and build infrastructure specifications. Your focus will revolve around simplifying the workflow for Kamstrup developers, enabling them to create and deploy high-quality software more effectively. Therefore, will you play a key role in streamlining the process of transforming innovative ideas into production-ready solutions. Additionally, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) capabilities, which are integral to our engineering operations.
More specifically, you will be:
Personality matters
We are looking for a proactive Platform Engineer Manager who can lead project journeys from start to finish. We imagine that you have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters. It is an advantage if you have experience with Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, and Configuration Management
