Student Assistant focusing on Commercial Excellence for Demant Hearing Care
Are you an ambitious student looking for a new professional challenge? Do you want to make a global impact by helping more people hear better? We are looking for a proactive student assistant with an analytical mindset and an eye for details to join our Commercial Excellence team in the Hearing Care business of Demant.
If the answer is “Yes” we have an exciting opportunity for you in our Commercial Excellence team.
A central role with high degree of responsibility and flexibility
You will become part of our international, cross professional and cross generation team and work very closely with our Head of Audiology. In your new student job, your tasks will vary to a certain extent depending on the team's specific projects and needs, however with strong focus on supporting short-term and long-term strategic projects through analysis and structuring of information as well as co-creating and administering content for an international community of skilled professionals. You will work with one of the core elements and most important processes and be provided with a unique opportunity to understand the underpinnings of our business.
You will be employed on flexible terms that are consistent with your study program, but we would like your help approx. 15 hours per week, preferably 2-3 regular days. It is important to note that some weeks will be busier than others in relations to various projects. The calendar of activities will be discussed and planned together. This position could be your ‘starting point’ for a potential career within the Demant Group.
To fulfill this position, we imagine that:
- You are currently enrolled in a higher education BA or MA level program and have minimum 2 years left in your studies (e.g., within business administration, strategy, communications, design thinking)
- You are fluent in English – both written and oral
- Top of class academic results or other outstanding achievements
- High achiever with a high degree of emotional intelligence
- You have a “can do attitude”
- You are self-driven and have the courage to run your own tasks, but at the same time humble enough to ask more experienced colleagues for advice if you encounter problems
- You are characterized by a high degree of ownership of your tasks, respect for deadlines and great desire to learn more
- You are curious and good in asking qualified questions
- A born communicator who can quickly establish networks
- You are hardworking and can withstand pressure in peak periods and do not lose your good spirit when the to-do-list seems endless and your subject matter experts are too busy to help you
