Integrate new requirements under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
In your new job, you will ensure that Demant integrate new requirements under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU taxonomy and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) into the daily practices and reporting process of Demant in collaboration with relevant functions such as Finance, Supply Chain and HR.
You will support Demant in meeting identified gaps in the qualitative information required for our CSRD compliant 2024 report in close collaboration with our Project Manager for CSRD implementation. You will also stay on top of the developments of the CSDDD and project support our Corporate Human Rights Impact Assessment and human rights policy development.
In your daily job, you can look forward to working alongside 12 great colleagues in Demant’s Corporate Communication & Sustainability department that handle internal and external corporate communication and sustainability. We are situated close to Demant’s top management, in a low-hierarchical organisation with a constant flow of new development opportunities – personal as well as professional. You are able to find pragmatic solutions to complex problems. Your trust in your skills is reflected in your deliverables and your interaction with key stakeholders.
You like to interpret sustainability standards and regulations and to be the organization's go-to-person for advice on implementation. If you can´t solve a given task yourself, you do not shy away from reaching out to colleagues or leverage your network for outside experiences and input. You have trust in yourself and trust in others, and you are a genuine team-oriented person.
To be a good candidate, we expect you to have some years of experience within sustainability or related fields and experience with sustainability reporting standards such as GRI, CSRD and EU taxonomy as well human rights due diligence guidelines such as UNGP or OECD guidelines. Preferably from medium or large sized company or a consulting firm.

- Prepare information and develop policies to close gaps owned by Group Sustainability in qualitative information under the CRSD/ESRS
- Facilitate a Corporate Human Rights Impact Assessment in collaboration with external consultants
- Support Demant’s majority shareholder William Demant Invest in sustainability reporting and in ensuring CSRD readiness for the financial year 2025
- Drive interpretation of requirements under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU taxonomy and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) in collaboration with key functions
Responsibilities
- Responsible for disclosures owned by Group Sustainability
- Responsible for Demant’s Human Rights Impact Assessment process and Human Rights policy
- Development of William Demant Invest’s sustainability disclosures and driver of CSRD readiness project
- Support taxonomy reporting (minimum safeguards)
- Lead the revision of selected ESG rating draft reports and integrate learnings into Demant’s sustainability reporting and communication to improve ESG scores
Examples of deliverables
- Final disclosures owned by Group Sustainability to ensure CSRD compliance in Annual Report 2024
- Corporate Human Rights Impact Assessment and human rights policy
- Preparation of materials and presentations for key stakeholders including the Sustainability Board, the Executive Board and the Audit Committee.
