To join our dedicated Farmer Relations & Auctions Department, Kopenhagen Fur is looking for a proactive Sales and Market Coordinator, with strong ability to analyze market data and translate them into sales efforts for our sales representatives to implement.

Kopenhagen Fur is cooperatively owned by the members of the Danish Fur Breeders Association founded in 1930. We are the world’s leading provider of fur skins, recognized for exceptional quality.
The core business is centered around four annual auctions taking place in the auction house in Glostrup where fur skins collected in Europe and North America are sold to international skin dealers.

Farmer Relations & Auctions
You will be part of Farmer Relations & Auctions team where Farmer Relations’ key task and main responsibility is collecting skins globally for our auctions. You will contribute to Kopenhagen Fur being the preferred sales partner and ensure we are the most relevant, easiest and value-adding company where to fur breeders can deliver their skins.

Farmer Relations & Auctions consist of your manager, Brian Ruddy Tufvesson, our chief auctioneer, a Business Analysist and 2 Market Coordinators all operating from Glostrup plus 7 Sales Representatives working from our different markets primarily in Europe.

Main responsibilities
In close collaboration with the team, you will be the backbone in Farmer Relations. Your main tasks will be planning, delegating, communicating and follow up on our sales efforts performed by our Sales Representatives.

You will support your manager, Vice President Farmer Relations & Auctions, with preparing market and sales analysis and you will suggest, plan and communicate sales efforts based on the analysis.
Poland is one of our biggest markets which needs additional attention and you will have the main responsibility for this market.

Being an excellent Sales and Market Coordinator requires knowing your customers well. Therefore, you must expect travel activity app. 30-40 days per year and maybe more travel days as part of your onboarding.

Competencies and experience
We expect that you have:

  • A degree in sales or marketing
  • Strong experience with sales or similar
  • Experience with preparing sales and market analysis
  • Experience with planning, delegating and follow-up on sales efforts
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Danish
  • Experienced user of IT and CRM-systems
  • Commercial and proactive mindset

You perform well with many tasks and find it natural to structure and create overviews.

You are extrovert and energetic. You feel at ease both working on individual projects as well as being part of a team and don’t mind delegating and follow up on sales efforts with our Sales Representatives.

You take responsibility, you are goal-oriented and driven by staying ahead of our competitors.
