International HR Operations Lead to NREP – Copenhagen/Stockholm/Helsinki
Newly established role as HR Operations Lead to build a strong HR Operations cross-countries that support with end-to-end employee lifecycle operations management. Opportunity to set the strategy and establish processes and templates for contracts, salaries, bonuses, etc. Next to this, the role is actively involved in NREP’s expansion by ensuring the right set-up for new entities and markets. You will become a part of a purpose-driven culture with a strong sense of belonging based on, trust, celebration, and caring for each other.
As HR Operations Lead, you will be to own and drive an HR Service organization that delivers HR operational services to all NREP entities in all geographical markets. You will join an organization, where there is a platform, templates, and structures for how to deliver successful HR support and administration. But NREP wants more, because the business is expanding rapidly – into new markets, business lines, and number of people. There are currently four people allocated to HR operational services which would be let by you, if you join, and as NREP enters new markets, this number will increase.
You will report directly to the HR Director and join a growing HR-team. Your employees are in Finland, Sweden, and England, and you will hire additional resources for Denmark and to new markets. You will work out of one of NREP’s offices in either Copenhagen, Stockholm or Helsinki and will of course enjoy the needed flexibility to make your working conditions ideal. Supporting an international and expanding business, you will need to travel approx. 20-30 days yearly.
Your job
As HR Operations Lead, your key responsibilities will be to design and build a scalable HR service model incl. choosing what processes to in- and outsource. Next to defining processes, you will optimize the system landscape to support HR and the business; this, you will do together with a Project Lead, and where you will e.g., ensure the right master data, performance, contracts, salaries, workflows, succession planning, and others. Also, you will align benefits and HR administration across entities and geographies, having a pragmatic and yet corporate approach. In your work, you might meet legal questions that you either answer yourself or ensure an answer to by engaging with legal advisors or local employer organizations. You cannot do this by yourself, and you will therefore retain and build a team of engaged HR Operations professionals.
Your profile and ambitions
As a person, you are ambitious about making a difference in what you do and deliver. You possess a natural drive, are proactive and persistent in seeing through your projects, and you do not lose overview though having to keep track of several activities. Structure and details are naturally important to you, but you also know, where your efforts create most value.
As a leader, you can delegate to, empower, and motivate your team to take ownership and work independently, and your team experiences you as a leader that goes to great length to develop and motivate them. In your stakeholder management, you are diplomatic and empathetic, and you can easily engage with managers, employees, and external stakeholders.
Your skills and experience
Your professional skills include practical HR Operations experience, from a Nordic or European set-up, where you have been exposed to different cultures and various legislations and agreements. You have experience from managing salaries, benefits, contract management, administration, and others – both yourself and together with a team. Furthermore, you are experienced in using Excel and other HR systems and tools. Because you will operate in an international context, you are of course fluent in English.
