Contracts & Benefits Specialist – Copenhagen
Our client is looking for a self-driven and proactive specialist to build and run an efficient contracts and benefits function across Europe. Next to ensuring flawless contracts and meeting internal customer demands, you align and to some degree standardize contracts and benefits. You join our client’s organization at a time, where there is room to make a significant influence, set standards, and add your own touch to the various tasks. The role is situated in central Copenhagen and offers an opportunity to work from home some days. You become member of an engaged and enthusiastic global HR team in which all work closely towards building HR excellence in a fast-growing company. You report to the HR Director for Europe & APAC, and your stakeholders are spread across the region.
Setting the direction and executing contract standards and benefit schemes
In the role as Contracts & Benefits Specialist, you have several key responsibilities that include developing contract templates and aligning these across markets, while securing that they are legally compliant. You provide advisory on employment law in Denmark, and ensure that issues across the markets are resolved by you or local legal consultants. Furthermore, you are responsible for benefits in terms of developing and aligning new benefit schemes across markets, while also having an eye for the cost-benefit in the schemes. In connection with these key responsibilities, some of your specific tasks are to:

This, you combine with an equal motivation for developing, implementing, and executing all tasks related to Contracts & Benefits. Though being involved in end-to-end processes, you do not jeopardize the need for precision in contracts, and your strong sense of ownership makes you motivated to understand all legal issues and costs behind providing benefit schemes. You genuinely aspire to meet customer needs, and you manage to stay service oriented, while also being firm on required standards and procedures.

- Act as legal advisor on employment law in Denmark
- Dictate salary bands for new positions for candidates (using Mercer)
- Update career framework (position levels) tool and report on salary benchmarks
- Manage the offboarding process regarding documentation and various practicalities, ensuring that all stakeholders deliver their tasks in time
- Assist Talent Acquisition and hiring managers with salary-bands and position creation
- Provide support to employee requests and employee-related matters
- Participate ad hoc in HR-related projects (systems and processes) as project driver or member

- Experience from an international setting, where you have engaged with all levels of the organization
- Knowledge about work permits (SIRI-DK), relocation issues, the Danish labor law, and contractual issues (termination, vacation law, etc.)
- Knowledge about off-boarding processes, benefits and salary-bands
- Solid Excel and good PP skills
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking) – additional languages are an advantage
