For Deloitte Denmark we are handling the recruitment of an exciting and challenging role as Banking Senior Manager, where you get an opportunity to ensure that ARAA delivers high quality on bank projects and develop and execute ARAA’s banking strategy and service offering as top of the class. The role operates across the Nordics, collaborates with highly specialised audit and advisory clients and experienced colleagues across the Deloitte network. In your role, you will build a network for ARAA in the bank sector in order to expand Deloitte’s client portfolio.
The role operates out of Deloitte’s Danish head office in Copenhagen, where you will become part of an extremely specialized and highly competent professional environment. The team, Actuarial, Risk & Advanced Analytics (“ARAA”) presents a strong and diverse team with plenty of possibilities to develop yourself even further.
Specialist role at Manager level, where you set the direction and quality levels for the Banking Area across Deloitte Denmark.
Your role is a specialist role with specialist responsibility of support for our current audit portfolio of banks. In your work, you collaborate with specialists across ARAA, audit teams and Risk Advisory across the Nordics and internationally, Deloitte’s international network, and Deloitte Nordics’ key audit- and advisory clients. In your interaction with your clients, you might be the sole expert to rely on, and where your advisory makes an impact. Some of your tasks include:
A discerning and driven Manager with financial background
Your entrance to this role can be several, where you might have experience from financial regulation and consulting or come from the industry or bank sector and with a distinct motivation for making a difference and create value within your specialist area. Towards your stakeholders, you are used to engage in qualified discussions, where you analyse contexts, propose solutions, and ensure that solutions are value-adding to your clients. In your interaction with your clients, you might be the sole expert to rely on, and where your advisory makes an impact. Some of your tasks include:
- Providing audit support on IFRS 9 for audit clients
- Deliver auditor’s opinions on external models used for IFRS 9 purposes
- Manage projects and contribute as an SME, mainly within an IFRS 9 or IRB framework. This can include support to internal audit, validation support and applications to the Danish FSA for the approval of IRB models.
- Participation in internal working groups to ensure knowledge sharing and strengthening of internal network
- Build and execute an internal training strategy on banking for our younger talents

- Financial educational background with at least 10 years of practical experience from, e.g., the bank sector
- Specialist within financial regulation, both within capital requirements (IRB) and financial reporting on expected credit loss (IFRS 9) and with a clear understanding of the differences and synergies
- Strong communication skills and a desire to satisfy our clients
- Focused, process oriented and with an attention to detail
- Ability to manage many tasks and projects at the same time
- Drive and willingness to take on the unexpected task
- Fluent in English and Danish – other Scandinavian language skills are an advantage but not a requirement
