UX/Service Designer – Digital Innovation
Would you like to be part of the team executing on Lundbeck’s digital strategy?
We are looking for a User Experience/Service Designer to strengthen our Digital Innovation team. You will influence the final deliverables and be responsible for solving real needs by working on the problems before solutions. Your focus is more on research and translating the finding to solutions/prototypes than detailed UI.
Are you motivated by shaping both internal and externally focused projects across our value chain?
As UX/Service Designer, you will apply your UX tools and perspectives on digital solutions supporting the entire value chain in Lundbeck – from R&D, production, and commercialization of final products. With your customer centric approach, you will act as an advocate for the user and facilitate that the final solution provides value for both the users and Lundbeck.
You will join the newly established Digital Innovation team, which is anchored in Corporate IT with headquarter in Valby, Denmark. The team is responsible for facilitating Lundbeck’s digital roadmap and provides information and guidance on design methodologies. The role will vary according to the specific project, where some projects need your advice on design tools, others on how to assess and explore features, and some need your close facilitation to define the real problem to solve.
Expected key tasks
- Help build out a design practice in Lundbeck
- Engage with product owners, developers, stakeholders, and other designers at a strategic level to frame what we need to build or buy and how to get there.
- Collaborate with product owners to define and conduct user research to truly understand the users and their goals and needs.
- Create end-to-end design deliverables as a series of experience maps, storyboards, flow charts, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Clearly and effectively communicate ideas, research findings, sketches, and other deliverables to product owners, developers, and leadership.
- Plan and execute user testing to validate designs and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
About you
You are a strong communicator and are quick to build relationships with those around you, acting with integrity in all situations. Being pragmatic, you consider all outcomes before you make decisions, and listen to other’s points of view. Finally, you are ambitious and want to continue to learn new skills to further your career.
Your previous work results, your personal drive, integrity, and curiosity is your most important asset.
Further to the above, you have:
- Senior level experience in conducting user research from initial hypothesis, test script creation to analyzing the results and presenting findings with recommendations
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate decisions and problem statements to stakeholders, customers, and other team members.
- Experience with defining and measuring impactful KPIs for each project success.
- Experience with design tools to produce wireframes, journey maps and prototypes.
- You have the ability to collaborate with designers, developers, product owners and stakeholders to transform complex problems into great user experiences.
- You can bring projects from concept to completion, doing everything possible to ensure their success.
- You can show examples of previous work that explore the development of a solution at different stages in the creative process (e.g. discovery, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, validation, etc.).
You are of course fluent in both written and spoken English.
