Internship at Fertin Pharma. The start of your career.

Are you interested in strategy? And do you want to be challenged on your theoretical skills in a position where you will have top-management exposure and a direct impact on the strategic agenda?

Fertin Pharma is looking for a Strategy Intern to join our newly established Strategy Office. The internship is a unique opportunity to step into a position where you will play an important role in our strategic planning and execution while solving a number of exciting projects in collaboration with the executive team.

By joining our Strategy Office, you will embark on what we believe is a purposeful mission – and probably one of the most exciting and ambitious strategies set out. Fertin Pharma was recently acquired by Philip Morris International (PMI) from EQT Private Equity and the Bagger-Sørensen family. At Fertin Pharma, our mission is to support healthier living. We help leading global brands create pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products to support healthier living. With our new owner onboard, Fertin will continue to pursue its mission and at the same time be a key enabler in building a smoke-free future together with our new owner.

The Strategy Office report to Fertin’s CEO and is responsible for Fertin’s Strategy Process (planning and execution), M&A activities and driving selected strategic projects on behalf of the executive team. As a Strategy intern, you will be reporting to Head of Strategy.

As a Strategy Intern, you will:

  • Prepare and participate in Executive meetings. (Prepare presentations – and decision materials, e.g., strategic reviews, business cases etc.)

  • Participate and contribute to our strategy processes locally and globally
  • Contribute to building Fertin’s M&A roadmap, including identifying and assessing M&A targets
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses for the Executive team

What we a looking for

We want to make your internship a good start to an exciting career. We are pleased to say that several of our interns have agreed to continue with us after the internship period. Is that something for you too? You are something for us, if you are studying on your master’s degree probably within Business, Economics, Finance, Strategy or the like. In addition, we are looking for:

  • Ability to break-down issues, structure and carry out analysis
  • A team player assuming responsibility and achieving results independently and as part of a team
  • High standards for work performance, execution and follow-up on delegated tasks and decisions
