Use your category management experience to build strong supplier relationships
Do you have several years of experience with strategic sourcing and category management from a relevant industry? Do you thrive in a position with a lot of responsibility, and do you have what it takes to keep the overview, even during hectic periods? Do you have strong interpersonal skills enabling you to develop new and maintain already established supplier relationships?
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be responsible for the Castings Category, incl. relevant sub-categories. You will lead, build and develop the category by driving the strategy development and implementation within the area. It will also be your responsibility to secure all KPIs and targets are achieved at supplier level. You will select and negotiate contracts with new suppliers as well as build and develop strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with key suppliers. Lastly, you will secure and increase savings and customer satisfaction through sourcing projects and supplier development programs.
You will also be responsible for:
Lead and manage all commercial activities with the suppliers, incl. negotiation of relevant contracts and agreements, e.g. prices, spare parts and new product development contracts Be responsible for managing suppliers by introducing supplier relationship management concept (SRM) Lead the development and execution of the sourcing strategy, supplier selection and cost reduction efforts Deliver on the agreed targets and KPIs Secure safe introduction of new or changed products in cooperation with relevant colleagues Coordinate and align effort/initiatives with SCM colleagues
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has strategic sourcing and category management experience from a relevant industry. Preferably, you hold a relevant master’s degree and have experience with team management. You have excellent interpersonal skills and a highly development-oriented mindset. You have in-depth understanding of Supply Chain Management and Strategic Sourcing. It is very important that you have excellent communication skills and can communicate with people with various cultural backgrounds.
