As our new Manager for Raw Material Supply Planning in Inbound Supply Management, Sourcing Operations (SoOp) and you will head up our team that ensures the inbound supply of raw materials for all manufacturing sites around the world. The team consists of 14 dedicated planning and master data professionals working closely together with our suppliers and our manufacturing sites. The team is responsible for aligning demand and capacity with the suppliers, continuously executing and optimizing the purchase process, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials to production sites. Your key responsibilities will be to: • Foster a climate of high well-being and innovation within your own team and across related organizational departments.
• Lead the transformation of our purchase planning processes and transition to a new planning system.
• Ensure efficient daily operations in compliance with GMP and corporate standards while optimizing our internal flow in Novo Nordisk.
• Lead and participate actively in board meetings, process confirmation, and structured use of problem-solving tools to locate and eliminate the root cause of an error. You will become a member of a dedicated, trustworthy, and ambitious management team reporting to the Director of Inbound Supply Management. As a member of the Inbound Supply Management team, you will contribute to the successful performance and ongoing development of the department through close collaboration with your peers. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have:
• Master's degree in any field.
• Proven experience as a people leader who builds trust, drives engagement, and ensures well-being in the team.
• +5 years of supply chain experience.
• APICS certification is a plus.
• Fluency in English. As a person, you have solid stakeholder management and communication skills. You are authentic and empathetic with strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build trust. We expect you to be a people leader by nature with the ability to coach and lead others in a complex and global stakeholder landscape. Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations, which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of and consists of 550 employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally.
