Responsible for driving growth of the fine-cut tobacco category
The position reports to the Brand Manager, Finecut for our European branded division and your overall role will be to support in defining and driving the future of our fine-cut tobacco categories. You will oversee the full marketing cycle, spanning across development of growth plans and initiatives, partnering with the Supply chain team on development and the Commercial excellence & market teams on securing execution and continuously searching for pockets of growth for the category.
Specific tasks include:
Commercial Marketeer with passion for setting the growth agenda
To succeed in this position and build a career in Scandinavian Tobacco Group you have 1-2 years of experience within marketing management preferably from leading FMCG companies. You have a desire to work with international categories and brands and you have accumulated significant insights into consumers in general, along with a proven track record of driving business development projects. Solid business and commercial understanding is a must, and experience with project management is an strong advantage. Your interpersonal and project management skills enables you to network and build relations across national borders as well as between functions.

You will be working at our head office in Gentofte and should expect to travel as part of the job.

Our European branded marketing team consists of a number of dedicated and highly skilled marketing and innovation professionals. We are responsible for all consumer, brand and strategic marketing activities throughout our mass market categories incl. the fine-cut tobacco category.

- Drive the strategic & commercial business agenda for fine-cut tobacco category
- Analyze category, brand and market developments and secure corrective actions in regards to core range and new product development
- Drive category centered business development and portfolio management in support for our markets
- Continuously develop positioning of the fine-cut brands to secure relevance and meaning for our consumers
- Drive category and brand experience (smoking, format, look & feel and activation) that brings positionings to life and ensures our brands are easy to think off and easy to buy
- Ideate, initiate and develop innovation projects that targets pockets of growth for the category in strong collaboration with Supply chain and the Innovation team
- Ideate, initiate, develop and execute simplification opportunities to support the gross profit of the fine-cut tobacco category
- Handling the daily business, both internally (markets, procurement, supply chain, etc.) and externally (design, packaging, etc.) incl. managing the individual category and brand budgets
Commercial Marketeer with passion for setting the growth agenda

You have a desire to work with international categories and brands and you have accumulated significant insights into consumers in general, along with a proven track record of driving business development projects. Solid business and commercial understanding is a must, and experience with project management is an strong advantage. Your interpersonal and project management skills enables you to network and build relations across national borders as well as between functions.
Moreover you:
- Have a creative mind-set and understands how to analyze and utilize trends, consumer behavior and market developments
- Have solid business understanding, experience with project management and profound understanding of marketing fundamentals
- Have outstanding communication skills and are fluent in English; both spoken and written.
- Are not easily ruffled, thrive with high level of dynamic circumstances and have the ability to balance focus on both long-term pipeline and short term product execution as well continuous tracking/ post analysis
