Transformational Lead for Agile Portfolio Management

Transforming our way of doing Agile Portfolio Management
This year we have implemented Azure DevOps as our shared tool for IT projects and team product delivery. Our portfolio framework and terminology are based on Scaled Agile Framework. All teams in Hearing Aids IT have been onboarded to our new shared ways of working and we are now ready to move to next step. Our portfolio consists of a wide range of projects all connected to developing and delivering IT solutions that will benefit our customers and our wholesale countries around the world.
From an IT angle, you will be working across our Hearing Aid business of Demant ensuring the acceleration of our digital journey. Furthermore, you will be overseeing projects connected to new digital services and features represented in our IT landscape such as internal systems and customer facing systems and apps.
Your main Responsibilities
Your role will be to define and lead the way of the entire change process that we are about to start when it comes to transforming our way we do, and think portfolio management in Hearing Aid IT. This means that you will:
- Establish and run a Hearing Aid IT ‘Operating Model’ incl. governance for project and portfolio management based on Azure DevOps implementation
- Take ownership of the Hearing Aid IT portfolio management tools and processes in collaboration with the Global IT PMO
- Establish and monitor guard rails of the portfolio incl. ensuring that action is taken when needed
- Prepare and run portfolio sync meetings and Hearing Aid IT-Board meetings
Joining us, you will be part of the Hearing Aid, IT Leadership team (part of Global IT) and thus be a key player and contributor to the overall agenda of the Demant Global IT organisation. You will be reporting to the Vice President of Hearing Aid IT and work out of the Demant HQ in Smørum.

You will be joining the Demant Global IT Organisation with 500 colleagues across the globe and with main hubs in Denmark, Poland, US and Asia Pacific region. We work with a global mindset and collaborate at all organizational and functional levels – making sure we can accommodate both global and regional business priorities.
You know what “Great” looks likes like
You bring extensive organisational change management experience as well as agile portfolio management experience to the table. Furthermore, you have experience, and interest in the processes and IT systems of a global healthcare company. Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Scaled Agile Framework is advantage. Finally, you have experience leading organisational change, and you are able to perform strategic execution of transformational change.
As a person, you are comfortable working across organisational and leadership boundaries and take pride in balancing short- and long-term business priorities.
You have a relevant education and several years of experience managing large and complex IT projects or programs. Maybe you have a record as leader of experienced professionals or hands-on Portfolio Management and Governance experience in a larger global setup.
