Dynaudio, the legendary Danish speaker maker, is looking for a new Director of Quality Assurance to work at our global headquarters in Skanderborg.
About the job
The Quality Assurance function at Dynaudio plays an important role in establishing, maintaining and developing processes, structures and systems to safeguard the quality of our products.
Thus the Director of QA will have significant influence on the future direction of the quality work at Dynaudio, and this requires agile thinking, a pragmatic approach to problem solving and sound business acumen.
The Director of QA has the authority to make production and ship stop decisions, and leads the Quality and Environmental Management overall in Dynaudio - thus owning the quality strategy.

About the department
We’re a team of 11 dedicated quality assurance employees in Denmark and China, working in the fields of IQC, PQC, CQE, SQE, DQE, QMS and environment. Apart from our cultural differences, our professional backgrounds are a mix of quality engineers and technicians, with experience from various industries.
About you
You have at least 5 years’ experience from a similar role in a production company with a proven record of successfully managing a team of specialists within quality assurance. Your educational background is at minimum bachelor’s level, probably within engineering or a related technical field, and you view Quality Assurance as an integral part of ensuring business success.
You have commercial and financial acumen with a full understanding of the impact of failure in terms of business cost, production schedules and customer order fulfilment. You are a highly skilled communicator who easily forms and maintains relationships internally and externally.
You possess strong analytical skills that enable you to plan ahead and ensure successful management of multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
You are customer focused, result oriented, accountable and a team player. Change management comes naturally to you, and you use your influencing skills to create followship at all levels in the organisation you serve.
English is our main company language, so you’ll need to be comfortably fluent in both writing and speaking it too.

Other responsibilities include:
- Membership of the Corporate Management team
- Making strategy plan and business plan
- Securing compliance with standards and certifications
- Reviewing, maintain and improving important business support processes such as supplier verification, selection and development
- Acting as gatekeeper in the phases of definition, development and manufacturing of our products
- Participation in the Material Review Board meetings that define correct quality level of our products
- Ensuring industry audits are carried out in accordance with industry standards (ISO, IATF)
- Establishing systems and structures for monitoring non-conformities and other quality related issues
- Conducting annual management reviews as per industry standards
- Ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ownership of the quality processes through the entire value chain
