Do you hold thorough knowledge in generator control & automation and do you have a commercial understanding? Use these competences as our new Product Manager where you get to work strategically with your own product portfolio and collaborate with customers and colleagues across the organisation.
The job
In our Sales & Business organisation, you join 10 colleagues in our product management team. With eyes on our portfolio and product strategies, we are in the process of updating our best-selling platform and start launching the new future platform for control solutions and a new product series to the global power generation industry.
”Your primary task will be to analyse the market – customer needs as well as competitors and their prices and solutions – and based on that knowledge, you ensure we develop the exact technical features that our customers want and need,” explains Rene Poulsen, Team Leader – Advanced Controls & Protection
Our new initiatives are of high business impact. The ML-2 and ML-300 platform have some interesting things to offer to our customers. As product manager you will be the key person to unleash the strengths and benefits to our customers and motivating them to move on to the new offerings from DEIF.
“This is one of the key product groups and customer segment of DEIF and as product manager you will carry a very big responsibility on your shoulder,” Rene says.

The person
- You have a technical background combined with a commercial interest
- You have knowledge of generator control, protection and automation from the marine & offshore industry
- You have experience of business development from genset builders, operation and maintenance or control system provider
- You have a commercial mindset, allowing you to understand how technical development and business work together to deliver the highest value to our customer
- You have experience in product positioning and profitability improvement through value creation, cost reduction etc.
- You have the knowledge of handling a product portfolio from idea generation to phase out
- You are able to travel days 40 per year to e.g. exhibitions and customer meetings
- You speak and write English effortlessly
