The position As an Outsourcing Manager you will be responsible for driving the clinical outsourcing process from request for proposal to signed contract in close collaboration with our Clinical Drug Development teams, Corporate Procurement, Legal and external suppliers. Your main tasks will be to: Follow up on supplier deliverables globally for our patient interaction device. Manage supplier relationships as well as supplier related risks. Take part in integrating the clinical outsourcing strategy in the development projects. Day-to-day operation is a varied mix of above responsibilities and includes a high degree of interaction with both internal and external stakeholders. As a part of Clinical Drug Development your main office will be at our site located in Søborg, Denmark, but you might experience minor travel activity. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: Knowledge of clinical development disciplines as well as supplier interaction from request to signed contract. Experience from sourcing, or a position closely related to outsourcing within the pharma or clinical research industry. You have flair for details and an interest in improving or simplifying clinical processes.
You are a team player and used to working in international and diverse professional groups, and you have a strong interest in business perspectives. The complexity of the sourcing solutions often demands curiosity and an innovative mindset. Thinking creative and solution oriented is therefore a key to succeeding. About the department Clinical Outsourcing Management supports Novo Nordisk’s Clinical Drug Development projects in driving and executing the clinical contracting process from request for information to signed contract, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. We are responsible for contracting and supplier management within the clinical area and for securing a strong clinical sourcing infrastructure. In Clinical Outsourcing Management we are 31 dedicated colleagues across two teams, with a fantastic team spirit, a high degree of individual responsibility in an engaging and professional environment. Clinical Outsourcing Management is a part of Clinical Drug Development. Clinical Drug Development are responsible for managing development worldwide from early clinical trials to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
