Vestas' Global Service business is continuously growing and has strategic importance. With our corporate strategy "Global leader in Sustainable Energy Solutions" we have set progressive growth targets for the Service business in the coming years. Achieving such targets requires a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally - and digitalisation is at the core of that transformation.
You will join a digital anchored product management team responsible for evolving and maturing the Covento Marketplace, which is enabling profitable growth, customer value and transforming our transactional aftermarket.
Responsibilities
As Covento Product Owner you are responsible for ensuring that the business agenda is supported by the right digital solutions. You are accountable for that business needs are translated into well designed, coherent and user-friendly digital products that can bring adoption, insights and customer value.
You will own and be accountable for specific areas of the Covento business platform where you have extended responsibility to strategise, roadmap, detail and continually optimize for measurable business results. At the same time, you will be held accountable together with the full product management team for designing an end-to-end solution that supports our customers (buyers and sellers). More specifically your tasks will cover:

The ideal candidate has worked in a similar role, or as a commercial management consultant, with a focus on digital business development or eCommerce/Marketplace business platforms. Furthermore, you are expected to have the following qualifications:

Additional information

As Covento Product Owner you are responsible for ensuring that the business agenda is supported by the right digital solutions. You will own and be accountable for specific areas of the Covento business platform where you have extended responsibility to strategise, roadmap, detail and continually optimize for measurable business results. At the same time, you will be held accountable together with the full product management team for designing an end-to-end solution that supports our customers (buyers and sellers). More specifically your tasks will cover:
- Drive Covento Sales digital capabilities to the next maturity levels in collaboration with your colleagues in the Covento commercial organisation
- Specify selected features, define requirements, scope and liaise with business stakeholders and handle the backlog towards development teams
- Design with a full Operating Model perspective in mind and ensure implications on data, people, performance etc. are considered and updated
- Keep the focus on the quality and continuous optimisation to ensure a best-in-class User Experience
- Work with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure the right solution for Covento end-to-end
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has worked in a similar role, or as a commercial management consultant, with a focus on digital business development or eCommerce/Marketplace business platforms. Furthermore, you are expected to have the following qualifications:
- Experience with the digitalisation of sales processes and the ability to bring standardisation, scale and automatisation into the solutions. Always aiming for optimal customer experience.
- Experience in working with the deconstruction of business requirements to user stories and daily engagement with a development team in an agile setup
- Ability to navigate in large projects with multiple global stakeholder groups
- Experience with Salesforce.com and B2B eCommerce within the domain area and knowledge of the process management would be a plus
