In this position you will join the Digital Business Transformation function in Digital Solutions and take part in digitally enabling the business by driving the end-to-end digitalisation of Vestas. We are in the process of setting-up digital product teams responsible for designing, building, and continuously optimizing our digital products. As our new Product Owner Digital Product Documentation , you will join a team of nine product owners, each leading product teams in the Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle area. Our mission is to be the trusted partner in developing digital solutions based on product lifecycle information to enable successful digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Business Area Lead for Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle you will as Product Owner be leading the Digital Product Documentation Management product team. This product team is accountable for the development of capabilities and the digital tool chain to support product documentation management activities in Vestas. This includes:

  • Define and maintain the product vision and strategy together with stakeholders across Digital Solutions and the Vestas Value Chain
  • Build the product roadmap incl. assessment of current product portfolio in collaboration with key functions in Engineering, Manufacturing and Service
  • Facilitate discovery activities with users and stakeholders across the value chain to identify improvement opportunities
  • Install a user centric and value driven mindset within product teams and among stakeholders to guide future business opportunities
  • Define EPICs, User stories and Sprint Goals incl. acceptance criteria based on user insights and qualitative data
  • Define OKRs together with stakeholders and Product Leader
  • Establish Product team and co-lead as a full functioning team together with Technical Area Lead and Product Leader, and co-work with other Product Teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree within the field of Engineering, IT, Business or relavent
  • Experience working as Digital Product Owner or Product Manager - it is a bonus if you have worked build and scaled a digital product.Experience from a role in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Engineering Management with experience operating or using different design tools and platforms: e.g., PTC Creo, CATIA, Ansys, PTC Windchill, etc
  • Experience presenting to all levels in organisation from shopfloor to senior management stakeholders
  • Used to working goal-based with a constant value outcome dedication
  • Fluency in English in both oral and written
  • Danish is not a prerequisite

  • Ability to think commercially when driving your product team; focusing on who are you enabling with your product and what is the value proposition of your product to the users/teams
  • A good communicator who can articulate value to stakeholders on multiple levels in the organization.Ability to engage and align stakeholder viewpoints and combine into a product vision and roadmap
  • Ability to facilitate cross-team workshops and discovery activities in close collaboration with Product Designer and Tech Lead
  • Ability to set direction but also execute on your plans and create measurable results
  • A team member

What we offer

You will have an important role in fulfilling Vestas' digital vision of bringing to market a sustaining valuable and useful digital experience within a Product-oriented digital organization. As Product Owner, you will set the product vision for the Engineering Design and Modelling tools product team. We work with product-led disciplines such as digital product strategy, continuous insights gathering and run tech & design spikes to foster a learning mindset and to validate assumptions before we prioritize and ship user value. You will become part of a growth area and join a great collaborative and diverse team.
