About the department
QMS Operations in Novo Nordisk Quality is responsible for ensuring that global IT systems for handling core quality processes in Novo Nordisk are user-friendly and developed to support the business. Our ambition is to implement initiatives and projects which ensures a robust and simple quality management system, supporting Novo Nordisk in maintaining world class quality in the future.
You will be part of a team who has deep knowledge and experience with our IT platform, and will support you from a technical perspective, making sure you have a solid framework to rely on.
The job
We offer a role as Product Owner for a team working with development and operations of a cloud-based content management system called QualityDocs. The team’s key purpose is to ensure effective implementation of changes to the system and your role is to represent the team and secure alignment with key stakeholders to ensure the team can work dedicated towards reaching key priorities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the team’s roadmap and work in close collaboration with the business to understand their needs and ensure optimal prioritisation of changes based on requirements and expected value to Novo Nordisk. You will need to balance the demands of the business here and now, while at the same time ensure our longer-term ambition is fulfilled. Many internal stakeholders will rely on your business understanding and your ability to combine business needs with an IT platform.
As Product Owner, you will furthermore be involved in operational implementation and roll-out of system releases as well as support and communication to end-users. You will work closely together with your team and process experts in order to understand the needs of the business, and to transform these to specific tasks. When prioritised you will work with colleagues in Global IT who will handle the IT development.
This role offers great potential for trying out leadership skills, covering internal coordination and co-work with the team, but also stakeholder management, and communication and dialogue to a broad audience within Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
We are looking for a positive and solution-oriented candidate with an interest in business processes and IT system development.
You might have been in roles responsible for a specific process and have experience from implementing changes that impacts a broad part of the business. You have a flair for IT and are interested in exploring how IT solutions best can support business needs. Understanding and experience working with IT and GxP are a plus, but not a must, the right approach and mindset are a bigger plus.
You have experience in collaboration positively with different stakeholders on various organisational levels. You are recognised for excellent quality mindset, and it will be an advantage if you have experience in driving simplicity using e.g. lean tools.
Your personal qualities define you as robust, a self-starter, and a great collaborator always having a positive attitude. You keep an overview, despite changing demands or tight deadlines. You have strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way. You are not afraid of being challenged by peers and stakeholders and your personal robustness enable you to integrate different views in the decision-making process and stand firm whenever needed.
Above all, you are proactive, have a strong drive and a desire to create real impact for the business.
