About the jobs

As talent acquisition partner you will be responsible for advising on and managing of talent acquisition in either 1) two business areas in Research & Development – Global Research Technologies and Global Drug Discovery. Or 2) our Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients production.

The two R&D areas explore scientific ideas, test novel concepts and full-fledged research projects, discover new molecules, design new processes and engineer new processes. All driving innovation which could develop into novel medicines for people with diabetes, obesity, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), rare blood disorders, rare endocrine disorders, chronic kidney and cardiovascular disease. Both are located in Måløv.

There are app. 2.000 emplyees across DAPI working together to produce insuline and GLP-1 for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. The vast majority work in Kalundborg, but there is also a department in Bagsværd.

You will be:

  • Driving the end to end talent acquisition process for academic positions ranging from mid to senior level in collaboration with hiring managers and talent sourcers from our recruitment process partner Alexander Mann Solutions.
  • Advising, assisting and challenging the hiring managers from the start-up meeting to the final selection of candidate so he/she feels safe and professionally assisted throughout the entire process.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor for managers and HR Business Partners in your business areas.

This part of the role will become increasingly profound as we are currently transforming the talent acquisition process across Novo Nordisk globally, moving from a traditional recruitment process towards a more strategic partnership. We are quite far in the change process and will continue to improve and inspire each other in the time to come.

The strategic part of the role includes among other things providing your stakeholders with knowledge on market trends, linking market insights with the medium and long-term needs of the organization and identifying must win battles. All based on a data-driven approach.

Qualifications

You hold a master’s degree within HR, business administration, occupational psychology, communication or similar and you are fluent in English both verbal and written. And you have several years of experience as a recruitment partner or talent acquisition advisor in strategic business areas probably from areas like research, technology or production.

  • Preferably you are used to handle 50+ acquisitions per year. You are experienced in fulfilling a role as strategic advisor for a business unit applying your analytical skills to the organizational level. It will be an advantage if you are familiar with a research or scientific environment or a production environment.
  • Your drive makes it natural for you to manage a host of different and sometimes complex processes and reach out to the stakeholders you need to involve accomplishing your goals.
  • You perform independently and create lasting trustful relations to hiring managers and other stakeholders within your area. At the same time, you are a team-player and thrive in working in a matrix organization.
  • You maintain a strategic overview while dealing with details, and you can be trusted to handle a complete area of recruitment both operationally and strategically. You use this ability to flex from strategic to operational support when acting as a trusted advisor for your stakeholders.

We use People Test System and Hogan as an important part of our assessment method and as you might not be certified in these specifically, you are familiar with various assessment methods.

About the department

You will be joining a team of 10 talent acquisition partners with a very diverse range of backgrounds – some of us are psychologists, others are trained within completely different fields – but we have all spent quite a few years making sure the right jobs find the right people at the right time.

We are a part of Talent Acquisition DK, a team of app. 28 persons, and together we assist Novo Nordisk DK in around 3.000 talent acquisition projects annually. This is a significant increase in volumes and we are consequently manning up.

You and your colleagues primarily work at the site linked to your designated line of business. Thus, on an everyday basis we are scattered around the production facilities, offices or laboratories in primarily Bagsværd, Søborg, Måløv, Kalundborg and Hillerød. It is important to us that we meet regularly to stay connected and share knowledge.
