About the department

You will be joining Talent Acquisition Partnering, a team of 10 talent acquisition partners with a very diverse range of backgrounds. Some of us are psychologists, others are trained within completely different fields, but we have all spent quite a few years making sure that the right jobs find the right people at the right time.

We are a part of the area Talent Acquisition DK, a team of approximately 27 recruiters. Together we support Novo Nordisk in Denmark in around 2,000 recruitments annually.

You and your colleagues primarily work at the site linked to their designated business area. Thus, at an everyday basis we are scattered around the production facilities, offices or laboratories in primarily Bagsværd, Søborg, Måløv, Kalundborg and Gentofte. Since our team members are working from different sites it is important that all of us keep in touch, have a focus on knowledge sharing and meet on a regular basis.

About the position

As talent acquisition partner you are responsible for advisory on and managing of talent acquisition in two business areas; Finance, Legal & Procurement and Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, both located in Bagsværd.

You drive the end to end recruitment process for professional to senior-level positions in collaboration with hiring managers and our shared service center in India. You advise, assist and challenge the hiring manager from the start-up meeting to the final selection of candidate so he/she feels safe and professionally assisted throughout the entire process.

In addition to the concrete recruitments, you are the strategic advisor for managers and HR Business Partners in your business areas. A part of the role that is becoming increasingly important as we are currently transforming the talent acquisition process across Novo Nordisk globally, moving from a traditional recruitment process towards a more strategic approach.

In the end state, you will conduct recruitments in cooperation with an administrator and a sourcer, who will both be located outside Denmark. This will allow you to focus on talent advisory to a higher degree than possible today. We are in the process of finding our future administrative and sourcing vendor.

As a strategic partner you are expected to provide your stakeholders with knowledge on market trends, linking market insights with the medium and long-term needs of the organization and identifying must win battles.

Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree within HR, business administration, occupational psychology, communication or similar and have several years of experience in talent acquisition. You have a demonstrated ability to flex from strategic to tactical support of the business.

It will be an advantage if you are experienced in working with a shared service centre and in fulfilling the role as a strategic advisor for a business area applying your analytical skills to the organisational level.

Your drive makes it natural for you to manage many different and sometimes complex processes and reach out to the stakeholders you need to involve in accomplishing your goals. You perform independently and create lasting trustful relations to hiring managers and other stakeholders within your area. At the same time, you are a team-player and value close cooperation and sharing of knowledge.

You manage to keep a strategic overview while dealing with details, and you are able to handle a complete area of recruitments both operationally and strategically. You understand the importance of a high service level and a flexibility towards candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders. In addition to that, you are fluent in English – Danish is not a requirement.

We use People Test System and Hogan as an important part of our assessment method and as you might not be certified in these specifically, you are familiar with various assessment methods.

We expect you to have a driver’s licence and a car as you will be driving between our sites several times a week.
