Are you a proven product manager with ambitions within the MedTech industry? Or do you currently work as a product manager within medical devices and have knowledge about bringing advanced technology to market? You will join Ambu at an interesting stage where the company is expanding its range of flexible endoscopes for single use to new clinical specialties within Pulmonology, ENT or Urology and form the key strategies for market entry.

You will be part of a team of seven people reporting to the Marketing Director, Sales Territories Nordics and Emerging markets. You are based at Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark or you could be working out one of the other Nordic countries.

Your primary areas of responsibility:

  • Manage and oversee the Visualization portfolio of flexible endoscopes within the Pulmonology, ENT and Urology area to help achieve the objectives of the business unit and the company by developing annual marketing and launch plans
  • Work with the sales team/VPs to develop and execute marketing programs which achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share
  • Training of sales teams and customers in Nordic and Emerging markets within the clinical specialties for the product portfolio
  • Conception, implementation and evaluation of marketing campaigns (Email newsletters, digital and video) within Nordic and Emerging markets
  • Work close together with customers/KOLs in order to develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of customers and their motivations
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to define optimal market strategy by clinical specialty
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and coordinate communication to the Field Sales Force on the implementation of Marketing strategies and tactics to achieve company objectives, as well as selling ideas and strategies, product positioning and knowledge, health economics, pricing and promotional programs
  • Liaise and consult closely with relevant HQ teams to identify clinical advantages, clinical challenges and potential growth areas for the Nordic market

You can expect around 20-30 days of travel activity annually.

Your Background
To succeed in this position, you need to be self-driven with a solid business understanding, a strong commercial mind-set and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across all functions. Ideally, you have had some years of commercial exposure in the medical device industry or a desire to kick-start a career within MedTech. Your background can be for example M.Sc. in Business or Marketing. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork and a "can do" attitude. As our new Product Manager Visualization, it is an advantage if you have worked within medical device marketing. But it is equally valuable if you have solid commercial and product management understanding. You should thrive on working closely with your customers and KOL’s.

Since Ambu is a global company and English is our corporate language fluency in English both orally and in writing is an absolute must. The ability to speak another Nordic language is a requirement.
