Would you like to join our ambitious pricing team to strive towards excellence in pharmaceutical pricing? As our new Global Snr Pricing Manager, you will be a key member to drive this and take on a role of high strategic importance to LEO Pharma.

About the job


The global pricing team has its functional home in Global Pricing & Market Access (GPMA), and operate globally as well as across all LEO Pharma’s products. As such you will get a role of high strategic importance, working with many stakeholders being mainly our three Regions, Key markets, Global Finance, Legal and the global commercial teams.

The job will provide you with the opportunity to drive development of pricing strategies as well as strategic important projects related to pricing and the journey towards pricing excellence. The scope of the job is to strategically drive the Global Pricing deliverables in all the related projects along the project’s lifecycle, from early research through development phase, up to launch and life cycle management and LoE strategy development – and execution thereof.

Your key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Development & analysis of pricing strategies
  • Providing strategic updates to relevant boards
  • Ensure to stay up to date with the changes in the pricing environment
  • Driving the ‘Gross to Net’ pricing initiative, so that LEO can effectively manage its margins: This will require working with external vendors and internal stakeholders with both system and change management dimensions.
  • Drive differential pricing options and deal structure strategies (tendering, contracting, rebate pro-grams) and defining what tactical considerations we need to achieve maximal market access
  • Ensuring adherence to LEO price procedures of key price and market access metrics and diagnostics
  • Conduct regular portfolio pricing reviews with key affiliates and regions
  • Providing price and market access input to key commercial teams, processes and boards
  • Developing commercially viable portfolio and LCM strategies

Qualifications and experience


Our new pricing manager needs to be strong in communicating pricing internally, have a creative mindset and able to multitask with several projects at the same time. We expect you to bring:

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in economics, finance, pharmaceuticals or commerce
  • 5+ years’ experience of working in Pharmaceutical Pricing, Market Access and Analytics within the pharmaceutical industry or allied consultancy services – ideally within a corporate setting, but regional or local experience is welcome as well
  • Proven track record of development of pricing and market access strategies, tools and reporting/monitoring systems
  • Skilled in analysing complex issues and significantly improving, changing or adapting existing processes, systems or products.
  • Solid leader of strategic initiatives to advise key decisions and senior management.
  • A sound understanding and preferably direct experience with the evolving healthcare systems in our major markets (USA, Europe and Asia) and the associated pricing and market access challenges
  • An entrepreneurial spirit combined with proven project management skills and the ability to harness the value of cross functional team work
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken

The position is based at the Headquarters of LEO Pharma in Copenhagen, Denmark and reports into the Director Global Pricing & Strategic Projects, with an experienced team of six pricing- analysts and managers. Global Pricing & Market Access is responsible for the payer side of LEO Pharma’s engagement with the external environment. We are a dedicated department with the global functional capabilities of: HEOR, Market Access, Pricing and Data Analytics & RWE. We work based on ambitious goals and you will be part of a dynamic an collaborative environment.
