We are looking for a Commercial Product Manager within our hardware product line. Come join us in launching and promoting the next generation tech solutions and be pivotal in improving the lives of millions of people around the world.
Welcome to the Category and Product Management Team
We have defined ‘in-market product performance and ownership’ as one of our main objectives. The Behind-the-Ear category covers a very significant share of GN Hearing’s sales and we are looking for a commercially minded Product Manager to take on the challenge of driving it further.
You will be responsible for the commercial performance of our Behind-the-ear hardware product line across our respective markets and will be the first point of entry for any topic tracking, helping and serving the market growth
In the position you will be a close partner of the markets and will collaborate to address their needs to grow product performance. Internally you will be working closely with the rest of the teams inside Product Management as well as several other internal functions such as R&D, Marketing, Finance and more.
Your commercial responsibility of the category will be flanked by your Technical Product Manager colleagues and together you set the strategic context, defining, and delivering successful products, and deal with lifecycle management of your in-market products.
Your key responsibilities will include:
You will enter a central role in a large international and cross-functional team and become part of the journey of supplying the best tech solutions in the world. Some of the big markets for this category includes EU and Asia. Post-covid we expect that travelling up to 10-14 days might be required.

- Acting as the product CEO taking on the full responsibility of the product category performance
- Partnering and collaborating with the individual markets (sale subsidiaries) to help them improve the growth of your category
- Category performance tracking and work with any product concern or issues in the markets
- Become the go-to-person on detailed domain and market knowledge on both end-user experience, competitive levels as well as local market considerations.
- Post launch reviews and business case follow with individual markets
- Defining program scope in close cooperation with your PM and R&D counter parts
- Influence the pipeline for new products
- Successfully launch and follow up on commercialization of your products
- Take active part in shaping and developing the Commercial Product Management role

Your profile

- A relevant educational background enabling you to understand and present complex information
- Commercial Experience related to Product Management or Area Sales Management
- Industrial experience from Medical Devices or a company dealing with hardware related products
- Experience with dealing with product launches in different markets and working with global sales subsidiaries
