Job Description
Danfoss Procurement is searching for a specialist in vendor master data who can deliver solutions, processes and tools to secure improved data quality and efficiency in vendor data management across our multiple SAP and non-SAP ERP systems.
Vendor Master Data is the corporate asset that drives operational and strategic procurement processes across Danfoss. Category Management, Contract Lifecycle Management and Risk Management are dependent on this critical data to deliver cost efficiencies and enable collaboration across business segments and functions. The vendor master data must be up-to-date, synchronized across systems, and ensure our ability to deliver internal and external reporting requirements. The SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) platform is the foundation for vendor master data quality as Danfoss roll-in OneERP, and contains the business logic for duplicate detection, data enrichment, alignment across source systems, and uncovering bad or inconsistent data quality.
Background and skills
We expect that you have professional experience and knowledge about vendor master data from a SAP environment. Furthermore, you have a solid IT and data management background as you need to solve complex business problems. You will represent Danfoss Procurement in projects with different stakeholders, why your ability to focus and keeping the business priorities in sight is a key success factor. Additionally, communication is an important part of the position when specifying requirements, documenting solutions and conducting trainings in new system functionalities, why also a high proficiency in English is required. - Experience in IT and data management (BI, SAP, MDG).
- High proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Business understanding, especially within procurement is preferred.
