Georg Jensen is looking for a Visual Merchandiser to join the Corporate Marketing Department working at the beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.

The role
The role is reporting to the Visual Design Manager and is an individual contributor role with responsibility for executing campaigns and global VM guidelines in Georg Jensen stores in Europe. In our flagships, pop-ups, and showrooms, you will have the opportunity to be part of developing the ongoing upgrading and renewal of the VM and customer experience.

The role
The role is reporting to the Visual Design Manager and is an individual contributor role with responsibility for executing campaigns and global VM guidelines in Georg Jensen stores in Europe. In our flagships, pop-ups, and showrooms, you will have the opportunity to be part of developing the ongoing upgrading and renewal of the VM and customer experience.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Execution of global VM guidelines with consideration to local conditions such as product assortment, sales, and store profile
- Campaign implementation in our European retail stores
- Influence and take part in developing Visual Merchandising standards for pop-ups and stores which requires a different take on VM
- Support the execution of events and other Retail Marketing initiatives
- Ordering of globally supplied instore materials
- Reporting to central functions and best practice sharing
- Procure, coordinate, and execute bespoke window display for selected stores
- Set up for seasonal kick-off and events in Global Head Quarters
- Visual Merchandising of common areas and conference rooms in Global Head Quarters
Travel activity
- This position is mainly field based and will include traveling estimated to 40-50 days per year.
Your Profile:
You're an experienced Visual Merchandiser with a commercial mindset that has a passion for developing, applying, and raising VM standards.
- Creative and innovative with knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
- Structured and organised. Must be able to plan ahead, instruct, coordinate with stores and manage planning and prioritization. Especially in peak periods such as Christmas where all stores need to be ready more or less at the same time
- Must have a strong sense of aesthetics and understanding of business acumen
- Actively uses data and analyse numbers for optimal space management
- Structured and a responsible approach with a positive, flexible, and “can-do” attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure and respectful of deadlines
- Strong team player but able to work independently in own area of responsibilities
The ideal candidate has the following competences:
- A relevant education in Retail/Visual Merchandising
- Experience from a similar position working with Luxury products and/or in creative environments
- Excellent project and collaboration skills
- Strong communication skills
- English proficiency with strong communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and passport during the employment
