Siemens is currently looking for a Mendix Portfolio Development Executive to support the growth of the Mendix portfolio through the definition and execution of existing and new customers and markets. Drive the go-to market strategies and use campaigns supporting the LAER model, to drive success and exceed the annual business plan!

About the role

As the EMEA Portfolio Development Executive, you will be expected to have a solid commercial background and experience of selling engineering software. You will work together with the Siemens Direct and Indirect Account teams enabling them and supporting Siemens Xcelerator GTM strategy, through planning to execution. You will work closely with country Sales and Portfolio Development teams, as well as global and cross functional business segment teams.

Responsibilities

  • Aligned to either the Northern (UK/Benelux/Nordics)
  • Drive the strategy of the Mendix portfolio specially for the Manufacturing Industry through go-to-market Campaigns and Sales Plays
  • Lead and facilitate growth workshops to accelerate knowledge and cross selling of Mendix Portfolio
  • Ensure that the Mendix Campaigns/Sales Plays are understood by the Siemens teams
  • Mentor the direct / indirect sales and Pre-sales teams on account planning, demand generation and pursuits.
  • Work with Channel Management to target and enable SMART partners to support incremental portfolio growth
  • Analyse competitor portfolio to establish differentiation for portfolio across markets.
  • Identify and track relevant industry trends and produce growth forecasts
  • Work with Business Segments supporting portfolio synergies and priority initiatives
  • Work with Global Learning Development and Development to deliver targeted enablement activities to direct/indirect team
  • Establish and track measurable KPIs for monitoring portfolio growth
  • Provide feedback to campaign owners as appropriate on content / lessons learnt.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in working in a matrix team of portfolio/sales-based executives in their achievement of software targets.
  • Experience in a customer-facing software sales, or business development function.
  • Proven track record to deliver on revenue targets
  • Able to understand, articulate, position and present the value of software solutions to Manufacturing companies
  • Experience with CXO level discussions
  • Knowledgeable of the competitive landscape
  • A good communicator with sales knowledge, business development experience and excellent presentation skills
  • Proactive and energetic with a high degree of self-motivation to develop and grow this Portfolio
  • Able to travel to EMEA countries and communicate effectively with multiple nationalities and cultures
  • Able to work in an EMEA role in collaboration with country teams, in a consultative and directive mode of working
  • It would be desirable is you have (but not essential) - experience of working in Industry with LowCode solutions in the context of client business, experience of developing and supporting indirect sales channel and/or experience of SaaS business Software Selling
  • Solid English language skills is a must plus an additional major European language would be beneficial
