Welcome to the new Quality Competence Centre

In Coloplast, we have recently reorganised our quality organisation, and you will become part of a new directory area. Joining the Quality Competence Centre, you will be part of a management team with 3 colleagues heading each their quality area with you being responsible for our Sterilisation team.

Your new team consists of 4 sterilisation and microbiology Specialists, 1 microbiology manager (who manages 2 technicians) in Humlebæk, Denmark, and 2 sterilisation Engineers in Hungary. Together, we ensure sterilisation validation of both new and existing products, while the actual sterilisation processes are carried out by our sterilisation suppliers.

Ensure efficiency, successful communication and development

Handling all sterilisation documentation and aiding Coloplast production sites with handling of sterile goods, your new team is involved in many cross-functional projects and tasks. As a manager, you will ensure development of the sterilisation area, define roles and responsibilities for the area and towards other departments in Coloplast, ensure optimal resource allocation, smooth communication and collaboration across projects and successful people management.

More specifically, you will:

  • Be the process owner for sterilisation within Coloplast and ensure compliance to national and international quality standards, e.g. ISO13485
  • Develop and maintain relevant competencies within the team to ensure a high level of employee satisfaction and performance
  • Support the manager of the microbiology laboratory, to ensure implementation of activities in microbiology throughout Coloplast
  • Ensure allocation of team resources to support projects from our innovation value stream/supply value stream, daily requests from the organisation, supplier auditing plans, etc.
  • Be responsible for the sterilisation budget, prepare and follow up on annual team objectives and report to the Director, Quality Competence Centre.
  • Facilitate team input and initiate and oversee optimisation projects within the team
  • Travel up to 20 days a year, primarily to visit your team members and our production sites

Quality management profile with experience in leading and elevating specialists

You possess solid planning skills and a knack for problem solving, enabling you to manage a team in high demand. Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have successful experience with managing specialists
  • Have experience with quality management systems, tools and standards, preferably from the medical device or pharmaceutical industries
  • Have some experience with production sites, so you know about the manufacturing processes involved in releasing new products
  • Speak and write English fluently
  • Perhaps have some sterilisation experience though it is not a prerequisite as you are surrounded by specialists and will be offered courses in the field
