Would you like to manage and optimise the valuable system and processes that keep our labels and instruction for use manuals up to speed? And do you want to manage a well-functioning team of specialists and strengthen cross-functional collaboration with other departments?

At Coloplast, the labels and instructions for use (IFUs) are crucial for our medical devices. Devices that improve the lives of people with intimate health care needs all over the world. In this position, you will use your interpersonal skills and optimisation experience to manage excellent label development and compliance.

Oversee critical communication surrounding our products

You will lead the Global Labelling team and be a part of an extended management team of around 30 colleagues in Global Quality & Regulatory Affairs. Your new team is responsible for our global label management system (LMS) with over 300 internal users and for setting the global standards for the labels and IFUs accompanying all our medical devices.

Your team consists of 5 skilled colleagues – counting a global process owner of LMS, an IFU improvement manager and 3 label and IFU managers, creating the global master labels and IFUs. Moreover, you will be the professional manager of a team manager in Poland who manages a team of 20 operational employees, executing the local market implementation of country specific labels and IFUs.

Foster global labelling and IFU compliance

You will have the global responsibility for labels and IFU across your HQ team and the operational team in Poland. Your overall goal is to make sure all labels are up to date and that they comply with medical device regulation across our markets – be it new demands for symbols or UDI codes or a simple address update for a Coloplast subsidiary.

Doing so, you will collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs and Compliance colleagues, who will keep you updated on the area, as well as Marketing who delivers visual specifications for labels and IFUs. You will:

  • Prioritise, coordinate and allocate resources to global labelling and IFU activities to ensure timely compliance of specific market requirements
  • Drive and initiate improvements to the LMS and related processes in collaboration with the LMS owner in your team to ensure as lean and efficient label and IFU management as possible
  • Ensure successful people management and employee engagement and development of your employees
  • Identify challenges and optimise processes for our collaboration with Marketing and R&D related to new product development
  • Travel approx. 20 days a year, primarily to visit your team in Poland

Knowledgeable in technical system processes and people engagement

It would be preferable if you have experience in labelling or IFU, but it is not a requirement. It is more important that you have a good grasp of technical system processes and are motivated by building collaborative synergies and simplifying procedures.

You are a true people’s person, and you know how to look into things to find a compromise that works for all. At the same time, you are good at standing your ground and getting people onboard when you have reached a decision.

We imagine that:

  • You have experience with developing or optimising processes for valuable global systems in an organisation – LMS experience is a plus but not a must
  • You have a Lean mindset and experience with optimisation projects
  • You have advanced interpersonal skills and probably some management experience as well as urging management ambitions
  • You communicate fluently in English
