Role
SAS is now hiring employees to the Roster Maintenance team which will be an essential part of maintaining, managing and optimizing released schedule for all crew within SK, Connect and Link until handover to Crew Control, and ensure the best possible conditions for day of operations.
You will communicate extensively across SK Flight Operations, Connect/Link and connected departments.
It is very important that you contribute and creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of Crew and Roster Maintenance, and demonstrates flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
General
Managing crew resources, balancing them between SK regions and between various platforms within SAS, SK/Connect/Link and wet lease operators, the job has extensive impact on SAS operating result.
• Responsible for training within Roster Maintenance department.
• Minimize the consequences of irregularities throughout SAS traffic program
• Responsible for balancing crew resources between SK, Connect, Link and wet lease operators.
• Responsible for balancing crew resources between SK regions.
• Ensure the right decision basis for operational changes.
• Responsible for reduction in volume of training, hotel/transport costs and overtime payments.
• Ensure stability and predictability by managing all unassigned flights and changes after schedule release.
• Responsible for hand over to OCC according to current SLA.
• Responsible for feedback to Crew Planning to ensure an ongoing optimization and quality of the delivery of crew resources.
• Maintain a high degree of scheduled productivity and operational robustness.
• Available for Crew with a mandate to act.
Support Management in Crew issues that affect our ability to deliver according to SLA.
Experience
Qualifications and requirements
• Thorough understanding of the SAS organization and good networker
• Good communication skills - verbally and in written
• Good knowledge in CMS and other IT systems within Crew Planning
• Knowledge in union agreements and government regulations within Flight Operations
• English - written and spoken
• Analytical skills with strategic mindset
• Broad understanding of SAS and how Crew Planning affects other functions
