This role can either be based in our Denmark (Copenhagen), Netherlands (Hague) or UK (maidenhead) office.
As a product owner, your focus will be to enable a fantastic product. You will drive a product vision through all stages of its lifecycle by building product strategy, a road map with a backlog of capabilities and features within our Developer Portal (developer.maersk.com). You will have a tight dialogue with stakeholders in our different business areas and prioritize the team's backlog with their inputs. You will make sure that we understand our customers' needs, business strategy, objectives, and technology. In the role, one important part is to collaborate and negotiate with internal and external parties such as other organizations and initiatives.

Key responsibilities
• Owns the ideation, prioritization, backlog, customer feedback loop processes.
• Responsible for creating usee stories, sprints and own backlog with scrum teams.
• Measures and reports the team's progress and impact on the business transparently and effectively. This includes defining key business and product success metrics, tracking them, and improving upon them.
• Customer/developer management, maintaining and tracking success/progress, analysing trends, having regular interactions to get the necessary targets addressed, building relationships, and improving quality of engagement with customers.
• Own and understand developers' needs and pain points. Then size, prioritize, and work with your cross-functional team to envision and build the very best solutions.
• Highly experienced in building the developer experience and building the developer ecosystem.
• Strong Communicator about upcoming plans and opportunities and be an evangelist for the organization's integration offering.
• Understand the foundation of the developer portal and improvise the dev-portal in the right priorities with adding business value to the portal.
• Responsible for core functional aspects of the developer portal, including sample code, SDKs, documentation, open-source integrations, and internal training. The ideal candidate is data-driven, process-oriented, technically adept, and has a proven track record of achievement.
You will act as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the development team. You will be working in a social environment that requires you to be a communicative and extrovert person with good abilities to build and maintain strong relationships. You need to manage and help the development team while displaying the owner's mentality. You will drive the work to improve the team's working methods continuously. You will work in a tight dialogue with your manager to support the growth and development of the team members through sharing feedback on team members. You will also, on a regular base share the vision and budget with the manager to strategically fill potential resource gaps.
You will lead, plan and report the ongoing work in relevant forms and communities. You will contribute and drive common topics in the Developer Portal team and the Product Owner fora.

Most important is your personality and desire to drive a product concept. More than that, we believe that you have long experience working within a field close to or within product management. You have been part of building successful developer portals for other companies. You are used to taking responsibility and can communicate on different levels and with different kinds of people. Having an owner's mentality is vital for this role. The masterpiece we create and deploy must hold high quality for many years to come.
Nice to Have
• Proven experience in building developer portal.
• Expertise in API/Integration strategy and developer portal.
• Experience in the logistic industry.
• Understanding of REST API, EDI integration, and events.
• Prior knowledge of developer evangelism.
We also believe you have:
A university degree in a relevant field and many years of experience in product management. Experience from agile ways of working and are familiar with scrum methodology. Work structured with a strong drive and make things happen without having someone telling you what to do. Easily establish good relationships with people and possess good stakeholder management skills. Great knowledge and ability to create and present product roadmaps and statuses. Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
