At 3Shape, we are looking for a skilled and 360° thinking Product Manager who can help drive our ambition to develop the world’s leading in-house solution for same day dentistry. As Product Manager for the 3Shape clinic CAM, you will play an important part in setting the future direction for 3Shape within the field of computer aided manufacturing.

3Shape is on a journey to become the world’s leading CAD-CAM solution provider in the dental clinic. Our TRIOS Design Studio solution plays a major part in executing this vision and will be your focus, but you will be developing a solution that will be used broadly across 3Shape products. You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and executing on the elements required to accomplish this success by analyzing the market, understanding the customer needs, and making outstanding user experiences together with the team. You will be working closely with our colleagues across the organization in Product Management, Development, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care.

As Product Manager you will:

  • With the team be responsible for the entire software solution experience from the actual CAD design workflow to fabrication and the entire eco-system around the solution.
  • Explore and understand customer needs in their daily work environment, analyze markets and competition to define the product vision, product roadmaps and product requirements.
  • Take on a 360° approach to the solution and strategy for working with mill and 3D printer partners.
  • Drive the development and rollout of new features, functionalities, and product releases in collaboration with R&D.
  • Align, prioritize, and coordinate roadmaps and initiatives within our and other teams across the entire 3Shape organization from R&D to different Business Units, Sales, Marketing, Academy and Customer Care.
  • Give input to product launch activities in close collaboration with other colleagues in the Product Management team.
  • Build relationships and work with key opinion leaders, universities, end-users, and partners across the world to gather input for a superior solution and help promote and drive our solutions into the markets.
  • Travel frequently to end-users, exhibitions, and conferences, once this is possible again (expect around 20-30 days of travel per year, primarily in Europe and the US).

Qualifications:

  • A background in science, engineering, or technology at a MSc level and with at least 3 years of work experience with project or Product Management.
  • Understanding of and preferably experience with medical devices and software.
  • Flair for technology, user interface design and the ability to translate customer and market needs into successful products.
  • An open and curious mind looking to explore a rapidly changing industry.
  • Ability to work in a complex business environment and maintain the interests, goals, and priorities from many stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator that can identify important elements in complex issues and present them effectively using written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to build strong relationship to colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • A great team player who is energized by interacting and collaborating cross-functionally with many different personalities and backgrounds.
  • Knowledge about dental products or markets will be an advantage.
  • Experience from a dental milling center will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional major languages will be considered a plus.
