We are currently looking for a Head of Quality Management to join our team in either Budapest or Copenhagen and be a key contributor to the evolution of Crey Games.

We are looking for people who are passionate about building world-class user experiences that are both usable and performant. Your role will be of incredibly high impact on quality and will directly affect our user retention. Experience in game development is not required, but having a passion for video games is.

We are an agile team, so make sure you are comfortable with the core concepts of the Scrum project processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the quality management department by articulating a set of value and a strategy that embody CREY’s mission and culture and that inspire our QA/QC teams to be proud of their work and always thrive on self-drive, personal growth, and excellence.
  • Structure the quality management department so that everyone receives the best possible personal mentoring and see a compelling growth path in our organization.
  • Ensure workable succession plan in the QA/QC teams.
  • Build a global and diverse team that thrives because they bring different points of view and can relate to our different communities.
  • Support members of the QA/QC teams to find how to thrive in a cross discipline setup (feature teams) and a fast paced, agile and distributed environment.
  • Drive innovation for the quality management department regarding culture, practices and technology.
  • Make the QA/QC organization ready to scale efficiently (culture, automation, tooling, processes, partnerships, etc.).
  • Advocate across the organization that quality isn’t the sole responsibility of the quality management department but of everyone in the organization and how it should impact everyone’s work.
  • Work with other heads of departments (design, production, technology, community, etc.) to ensure alignment and synergy with the QA/QC teams.
  • Work with community management and customer support teams to handle issues in live environment in the best possible way for CREY’s community.
  • Work with the DevOps team to ensure quality, speed, reliability and predictability through the development of our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Own release management process with DevOps and Production teams to ensure smooth development practices and end-user experience.
  • Develop practices around the definition, implementation and monitoring of KPIs and SLOs to help the team to be on top of any situation, respond appropriately to any event and have the right information to make decisions.
  • Own QA/QC situation reporting process, making it low maintenance to execute and to consume.
  • Develop, implement and refine CREY’s test strategy with internal QA/QC teams, external partners and other stakeholders in order to increase the speed of development and release of CREY’s products.
  • Ensure QA/QC strategy covers all aspects of the products (functionality, performance, compatibility, compliance, connectivity, security, localization…) and leverage advanced testing methods (destructive testing…).
  • Ensure QA/QC strategy is adapted to the different types of products CREY develop (website, mobile app, engine, game editor, online services, games, etc.)
  • Ensure best possible toolset (JIRA, Testrail, etc.) is used, in an optimal manner and organize necessary trainings.
  • Facilitate resolution of blocking issue involving the Quality management department.
