We are looking for a chemical or process engineer to help develop, among other things, a new concept for thermal energy storage. It is important that you want to:
- - Work independently within a small team. You will be developing and optimizing new technologies and it is important that you want to explore new ideas and build equipment to test these ideas and seek out solutions.
- - You want to be part of a smaller group within a larger developing company. There will be many different tasks and roles and a lot of learning by doing. You will take part in building the company.
About us
We are a team of 3 in a 50-person company with many ideas and too few hands. We focus on improving heat exchangers using coatings and develop derived technologies where our heat exchangers can play a central role. One such technology is a new concept for a salt- based heat storage which will be the first project for you to work on.
Our aim is to improve heat exchangers and we are now looking to develop several different technologies in several different applications made possible by our improved heat exchangers within thermal energy storage, carbon capture and storage, and water purification technologies.
We are part of Heliac A/S which produce concentrated solar heating for industrial settings.
About you
- - You know about most of the following subjects: Thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, material science, and chemistry.
- - You could be entry-level or experienced. Your commitment to help build the company is more important than your level of experience.
- - You are a team player with the ability to work independently.
- - You are passionate about innovative heating technologies and the development of
technologies for carbon neutrality.
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree with chemical knowledge or equivalent qualifications.
- You are fluent in English and preferable also Danish.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- You can work with P&ID.
- You are possibly skilled within design of process equipment and liquid handling.
