We are looking for a product owner ready to share and grow
Our current product owner in our platform team has pursued a new position outside our organization. One of our 3 teams in the Calypso department is therefore looking for a new product owner. The department is part of the Capital Markets - Risk & Data area, based in Roskilde. You will be reporting to the Head of Calypso Søren Lundsgaard.
The Calypso department is responsible for BEC's Capital Markets platform. Calypso includes front, back and middle office functionality and handles the registration and settlement of a variety of currency and mutual fund products.
In focus for the platform team is to develop and maintain BEC’s capital markets platform which is running on Calypso.
Your future colleagues are very skilled within their different fields. The product owner is a vital part of delivering the right solution in the right order, and to find cost effective solutions that can handle complex issues.

Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as product owner, you will work closely with the specialists in the banks and in BEC as well as with other product owners and the product manager in our development area. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

Preferably, you have an educational background at IT, Natural Sciences or Finance. Furthermore, you have at least 5 years of experience from the financial sector and deep knowledge of technology.

Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as product owner, you will work closely with the specialists in the banks and in BEC as well as with other product owners and the product manager in our development area. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Cooperation and communication on all levels, both with team and ART (Agile Release Train) management and with customers and suppliers
- Clarifying customers’ needs and secure that expectations are aligned between BEC and the customers on an ongoing basis
- Understand the customers’ business and need for IT solutions that support the business
- Responsibility for the team’s backlog and secure the right prioritization
- Responsibility towards budget and ROI
- Sprint backlog refinement together with the team and scrum master
- Drive technical change for the infrastructure
- 60% of your time is focused on PO tasks and the rest of your time you will work as a technical driver for small and big initiatives
