This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde, Denmark and you will join the Product Management team in Online Banking with the portfolio responsibility of Netbank and Mobile Bank, Cards and Fraud prevention. The team consists of a Product Manager and three Product Owners. The product management team is in charge of the product development demand in close co-operation with the customers and prioritizes the product development towards capacity. 

As product owner for Cards and fraud prevention you will have product ownership of card products (Visa, Mastercard og Dankort) and fraud prevention (Cards and Online) and you will work closely together with the Cards and fraud prevention development team working in an agile structure.  

As Product Owner you own the product strategy and ensure that your 5-quarter roadmap is supported by the team backlog and clarified with the customers. You contribute to refinement of epics and features with the Product Manager and the team, building, refining, and prioritizing the team backlog and collecting end-user and stakeholder input. 

You work in a hybrid remote model, coming into the office at least 3 days a week. Your direct manager will be Lasse Nørgaard. 

Primary task and responsibilities include:

  • Monitor the market development within the product area of cards and fraud prevention 
  • Set the direction for the cards and fraud area together with the product manager and customers 
  • Balance the expectations for deliveries building the roadmap and deciding the deliveries 5 quarters ahead 
  • Shaping of epics and features together with the development team including prioritization of work 
  • Work closely with the product manager, the Development Manager, and the development team members as well as with other Product Owners to ensure cross-domain collaboration 
  • Work closely with the Domain Architect to ensure architectural vision fits products 
  • Secure alignment with the customers and stakeholders on business objectives 

To succeed you will have/be:   

  • Educational background at bachelor’s or master’s level within IT/Finance/Banking 
  • Experience with product development and associated methods 
  • Experience working with cards and/or cards/online fraud is preferred 
  • Experience working in an agile environment 
  • Customer focus and proven stakeholder management capabilities 
  • Skills enabling communication between the customers and the team 
  • Focus on quality, business value and making things happen
  • Happy to work structured in Jira 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
